CHALLENGE
To manage employee benefits, today medical mutual admins have to use 3 different systems to perform key tasks - Supporting Open Enrollement Selections, Providing Plan Options, Manage Employee Inquiries and Invoices, along with other miscellaneious tasks which are done manually today like Managing Enrollments.
RESULT
A smart, intuitive landing page concept for admins—centered on delivering what matters most at first login.
IMPACT
This newly designed dashboard allows admins to access all key tasks from one centralized place. This streamlined experience has the potential to reduce task completion time by 40%, improve overall administrative efficiency, reducing errors and support inquiries by an estimated 25%.
Critical User Pain Points
Difficult Report Discovery
Finding reports for my specific needs is challenging and time-consuming, often leading to editing known ones instead of finding better pre-made options.
Manual Enrollment Tracking
Supporting open enrollment selections and picking the right plans requires painstaking data monitoring and manual synthesis.
Inefficient Q&A Workflow
Sorting through complicated details to respond to basic recurring questions can be frustrating, especially when I have to do a lot of navigating.
Tedious Invoice Processing
Manually finding and validating invoices before sending them to be paid is tedious, so I typically skip it entirely.
Unfocused Notifications
As a solo person managing overall tasks elsewhere, I only need my platform notifications to focus on benefits administration actions to either prepare for or do.
Unclear Support Path
Because needing support is rare for me and occurs mostly for obscure topics, it doesn’t need to be a primary focus, but it does need to help me define the problem and find the right person.
